Brainrot Tower Defense Summoning

Boosted banners, Secret rates, and why a 50K gem dump still misses off-banner junk.

Summoning

Summoning is the gem banner. It is not the combination machine, not trait rerolls, and not the gift icon. You spend gems (and sometimes tickets) on a banner, the game rolls a Brainrot, and you either got the featured unit or you got filler. Shock Wave Studio runs boosted banners with better rates on the featured names. Secrets stay rare even then. The 50K gem video in the middle of this page is a warning: a huge dump still prints Legendaries you will not place. This page is how to spend a code stash without feeding the off-banner junk pile.

Gems, banners, and boosted rates

Gems come from codes (gift icon, including bbtd), index claims, level rewards, Endless, and events. Redeem first with how to redeem, then look at the live banner. A boosted banner advertises a featured unit and a better rate for that unit. That is the only banner that should see a serious dump. Off-banner Legendary tables are how D-tier filler happens. If the featured name is not something you would actually place, close the menu.

Who is worth a dump when they are featured:

  • Graipus Medussi — Banner Secret, Full AoE. The usual S-tier map clear. Still a Secret; a boosted banner is the least-bad time to chase it, not a guarantee.
  • Saturno Saturnita — Banner Mythic, single-target boss chip with splash. This is the farmable-ish boss killer when the banner says so.
  • Other featured Mythics and Secrets named in the current weekly update. If the tooltip does not say featured, it is not featured.

Who is not worth a dump: random Legendaries, off-banner Commons, and anything you already have as a worse copy. Ballerina Cappucina is a fine beginner Full AoE if she falls out of a ticket, not a reason to empty 50K gems. Dragon Cannelloni is a placement starter you use because it is cheap, not because you summoned fifty of it. Confirm targets on best units, secrets, and mythics before you tap.

Secrets are rare on purpose

A Secret rate does not become fair because you had a good day of codes. Plan the account as if Graipus Medussi never arrives. You can clear story and a lot of Endless with a farm combination, a slow, a beginner AoE, and Saturno or an A-tier boss chip. Elefanti Strawberry, Major Combination, and Los Tralalero Dicen Tralala are crafts, which means copies and event materials, not this banner. Do not sit on the summon screen hoping the machine and the banner merge.

Battle Pass Mythic Pot Hotspot is a track, not a banner. KarKerKar KurKur, Los Metteo, Udin Din Din Dun, Strawberrelli Flamingelli, Garama, and Madundug show up as pulls, crafts, or event units depending on the week — treat extras as combination food, not as a signal to keep rolling “until something S-tier happens.”

How to dump without tilting

Set a number before you open the banner. A code-week stash might be a few thousand gems; a long Endless farm might be more. Spend that number on the boosted banner, then stop. The 50K showcase exists because even a huge number still prints filler. If the featured unit did not land, you still have the filler copies for combinations and you still have trait items for traits. You do not “make it back” by rolling the dead banner.

A simple order that keeps currencies honest:

  1. Redeem codes and park gems.
  2. Place a cheap starter and learn the HUD (getting started, how to play).
  3. Craft the farm / slow if the recipes are live.
  4. Dump gems only on a boosted featured Secret or Mythic.
  5. Reroll Giant (minus 10 percent SPA) on the unit you actually placed.

Invite a friend into the 20-player server to farm the gem maps; do not invite them to watch you tap the banner. Gem spending is the short checklist if you want numbers without the banner lore. Events sometimes add tickets — spend those on the same featured banner, not on a second random crate.

Count gems in banners, not in feelings. A boosted Secret or Mythic pity is the only dump that should empty a code stash; everything else waits until the next rate-up.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where do gems come from?

Gift-icon codes, index claims, levels, Endless, and events. Redeem before you queue so the stash is on the account when a boosted banner appears.

What is a boosted banner?

A rate-up that names a featured unit and raises its odds. That is the banner you dump on. Off-banner Legendary tables are filler.

Should I spend 50K gems on a normal banner?

No. A huge dump still prints D-tier Legendaries. Wait for the featured Secret or Mythic, then spend a number you chose in advance.

Is Graipus Medussi guaranteed if I keep rolling?

No. It is a Banner Secret. Build a team that works without it: farm combination, slow, beginner AoE, and a Mythic boss chip such as Saturno Saturnita.

Are combinations the same as summons?

No. Combinations use the lobby machine, copies, and materials. Summoning uses gems. Keep those budgets split.

What do I do with extra Legendaries?

Feed extras into combinations or ignore them. Do not treat filler as a reason to keep summoning.
