Getting Started in Brainrot Tower Defense

Brainrot Tower Defense is a released Roblox tower defense from Shock Wave Studio and Lightning Dragon. You place Italian Brainrot meme units on a path, earn cash from kills, upgrade and evolve those towers, and win the wave. Servers hold up to 20 players and you can invite friends into online co-op from the lobby. This page is the first session: claim the free currency, put down one cheap tower that actually fires, and refuse the six-spread upgrade habit that leaks early maps.

Before you press play

On the Roblox page, like the experience, favorite it, and join the group. Weekly drops and some gift flags still check those clicks. Launch the game, then look for the gift icon rather than a hidden chat command. Type bbtd and every live string from the codes list. If the menu is new, use how to redeem so you do not miss the confirm button. Skip anything on expired codes. Park the gems. A code stash is for a boosted banner later, not for a panic Legendary pull before you understand placement. When you are ready to spend, gem spending and summoning are the next tabs, not the first match.

Place a cheap starter, not a full bar

The lobby uses platforms and teleports to send you into a map. After the wave HUD appears, the bottom bar is unit select. Place only on valid tiles; the game rejects sidewalk clutter. For a new account, three starters cover almost every first map:

• Dragon Cannelloni if you own it. It is B-tier overall and excellent on placement cost, which means it starts shooting while you still have empty pockets.
• Ballerina Cappucina when you need beginner Full AoE instead of a single-target poke.
• A farm unit the moment a code, friend, or early combination copy gives you one. Cash now beats a pretty name you cannot upgrade.

Do not six-spread upgrades. Six half-built towers lose to two upgraded ones. Select the unit that is actually covering the bend, feed it, and let the rest wait. The HUD loop — select, place, upgrade, evolve when the prompt is real — is spelled out in how to play. If you want a friend to carry range while you learn cash, invite them. Extra placements on a 20-player server make the first-hour curve much safer than a solo leak on wave six.

Roles you will grow into, not buy today

A finished board wants four jobs: Farm, slow Support, crowd AoE, and a boss killer. You will not own the live S-tier set after one session. Graipus Medussi is a Banner Secret Full AoE, Elefanti Strawberry a Circle combination, Saturno Saturnita a Banner Mythic boss chip, Major Combination the slow craft, and Los Tralalero Dicen Tralala the cash farm. Wishlist, not a day-one summon plan.

A-tier stopgaps: KarKerKar KurKur, Los Metteo, Battle Pass Mythic Pot Hotspot, Ballerina Cappucina. B-tier still plays — Udin Din Din Dun, Dragon Cannelloni, Line attacker Strawberrelli Flamingelli. Garama and Madundug are C. D-tier filler Legendaries are combination food, not a banner reason. Skim teams and the units hub after your first clear.

What to do after the first win

Redeem leftover codes, then stop. Open traits only if you already have reroll items; Giant (minus 10 percent SPA) belongs on a carry, Diamond (plus 50 percent XP) on a unit still leveling. Duplicate copies go to the combination machine when you can finish a recipe. Farm events feed glue, plunger, ketchup, and currency.
